Hello all ... Recently a Young Professionals Committee was formed within the PNWS AWWA. In order to facilitate the group, there are three "sub-committees" starting up in Seattle, Portland, and Spokane.
Traditionally, AWWA considers a young/new professional to be any person involved in the industry with 12 years or less experience. AWWA considers all of its members to be water industry professionals, including but not limited to those working for utilities, regulatory agencies, consulting firms, or academic institutions.
I want to invite all new and young professionals to the Bellevue Rock Bottom for happy hour gatherings. We will meet there on the third Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm starting on February 15th.
I hope to see you there! Brian |

| Wed or Friday evenings would work so much better for me. I would like to come, but my schedule conflicts. |

| Just an update on the Young Professionals group. We are still meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, but we are not going to the Rock Bottom anymore. We typically go to Manzana Grill in Lincoln Square now, but sometimes we meet in Seattle too. Also, we are periodically hosting lunches on different training topics. Please contact me if you are interested in getting on the mailing list, or if you'd like to host a luncheon! Thanks! |
