This beginning pump class will start with the basics and help attendees learn how pumps are used in drinking water systems, learn pump maintenance, and much more.
The Advanced Pump Class offered the following day is a good follow-up to this beginning class for attendees to learn more about the specifics of pump operation and further improve their skills troubleshooting and maintaining pumps.
Attendees will learn:
Common pump terms and definitions
How pumps work
Types of pumps and how to select the right pump
VFD (variable frequency drive) control and power efficiencies
Parts and function of pumping systems
Pump maintenance for trouble-free operation and long-term use
Learn how to identify, troubleshoot, and fix common problems
How to replace common pump components
Hands-on demonstrations, Q&A, and audience participation
Excellent beginner class and a great refresher class for others
